The all-in-one Lumicon Cassegrain Easy-Guider for 5 SCTs is one of the most powerful astrophotography accessories on the market today greatly extending the photographic capabilities of your 5 Schmidt-Cassegrain telescope.The sturdy Cassegrain Easy-Guider features a unique patented radial adjustment for finding bright off-axis guide-stars. The Lumicon Cassegrain Easy-Guider also includes rotational adjustments along with a large off-axis prism both of which combine to simplify guide-star selection. The multi-coated 50mm focal reducing lens yields 100% edge-to-edge field illumination high-contrast and pinpoint star images across a 35mm frame. The reducing lens in its standard position provides a 0.65 reduction (F/10 optics become F/6.5). It can also be moved farther from the camera yielding an approximate F/5 ratio. Exposure times with the Lumicon Cassegrain Easy-Guider are thus 2 to 4 times shorter and the image size is correspondingly reduced.Additionally the filter compartment is located behind the pick-off prism on the camera side of the Cassegrain Easy-Guider.
